Following this achievement Soldiers Point Marina became ineligible to re-enter the Marina of the Year Awards.
In 2018 Soldiers Point Marina was awarded Gold Anchor Platinum Status. At that time Soldiers Point Marina was only one of seven marinas in the world to hold the highly coveted Platinum Anchor accreditation.

The Association of Marina Industries CMM course is internationally recognised as the highest level. #165 in the world Darrell has demonstrated a high level of professional achievement through knowledge, experience and active participation in the marina industry and is recognised as such with his achievement in 2006.
