With our fearless leader Darrell at the helm, we are certain to stay on a clear path to success.
Darrell became a Certified Marina Manager (CMM) in 2003, after completing a series of courses and training over two years including an intense advanced marina management course in Seattle, Washington USA.
Darrell was the 165th person in the world to be awarded CMM status, joining the ranks of an international group of marina professionals from nine nations.
Darrell’s leadership ensures that Soldiers Point Marina is professionally managed; he is up-to-date with the latest developments, legislation and environmental issues that the marina industry is facing today.
Darrell has lead the award winning team at Soldiers Point Marina since 2000 and continues to be a hands on leader; you will often see him assisting boats on the docks or parking cars in the “Valet” car parking area. “Nothing is too much trouble for our valued guests”

Soldiers Point Marina welcomes Wally to our team. Wally has stepped into the HarbourMaster roll and will assist Darrell and Carmen in managing the marina facility. Wally has many years in the marina industry and brings with him a wealth of knowledge.

WOW – Carmen joined the team in 2013 as Guest Service Manager (Jack of all trades), the position was created to ensure that the need of every guest is meet and executed with a smile.
Carmen is more like a “Concierge” similar what you would find in a high end hotel. She works to ensure your stay with us is seamless and enjoyable from start to finish.
Jimmy manages the day to day operation of the marina and it’s maintenance. Jimmy has been employed at Soldiers Point Marina since before it was purchased by Clippers Anchorage Pty Ltd.
As a consequence, Jimmy is a hive of information and knowledge, his memory of guests names, boat names and boat types is extraordinary.
Jimmy has a detailed and intimate relationship with every nook and cranny of the marina and its environs.
In 2015-2016 Jimmy was awarded the inaugural MIA Marina Employee of the year Award – this Australia wide award was voted on by past and present marina guests.
