Sponsored Children

Soldiers Point Marina is proud of our continued community involvement particularly with young people – locally and around the world. We are currently sponsoring four young people from different countries under the PLAN organisation.

PLAN is one of the oldest and largest children’s development organisations in the world with no political or religious affiliations.

The children are sponsored until they graduate school which is generally between the age of 18-20.

We correspond by letter and also send photographs, although PLAN specifically ask that no individual gifts are sent as the other children become jealous. However they do enjoy receiving stickers and magnets which they can share
amongst all the children in their community.
